Principal

Mr. Carl Prescott is a native of Girard, GA and a graduate of the Burke County School District. He received his undergraduate degree from Morris Brown College; his Master of Arts and Specialist degrees from Cambridge College.

Mr. Prescott has been an educator for the past 20 years. He has served as a classroom teacher, a middle school assistant principal, a high school assistant principal, an Interim principal at the middle school level, and now the principal at Jefferson County High School.

Mr. Prescott loves spending time with his family and attending sporting
events. He is an avid tennis player. Mr. Prescott is a member of the Thankful Baptist Church. He is actively involved in his community and gives back through his membership and participation in various organizations.

Mr. Prescott and his wife, Ricquetta Prescott, are the proud parents of three children, Aniyah 20, Chloe 18, and Cameron 17.
